MY STORY
I know what it is to fight for your body, and your life.
At 29, my kidneys failed from childhood Diabetes. I spent years in dialysis before a kidney and pancreas transplant gave me my life back. I’m not wasting it.
Seventeen years later, I am a board-certified health coach, an advanced yoga teacher, a Yoga of Recovery practitioner, avid volunteer and long distance runner. I love spending time on the beach with my husband and a house full of scrappy rescue animals.

THE BODY
Survival is where I started
Cancer. Diabetes. Miscarriages. Dialysis. A kidney and pancreas transplant at thirty- two. My body has been through extraordinary things, and so has my relationship with it. I learned to survive with my movement and my breath.
Everything I teach comes from personal experience.
COACHING + TEACHING
From surviving to sharing
I never wanted to help[ people. Not as a health coach, anyway. Until I relaized that the only way I could make sense of all the s**t I’ve survived was by helping other people survive. It’s not a choice, it ‘s my calling. I had the lived experience, I needed the credentials. So at 47 I returned to college. I became a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach at Mesa College. I also finished degrees in psychology and behavioral science and became a certified RYT 200/300 yoga teacher at MiramarCollege.
I am a somatic practitioner, breathwork instructor, Yoga teacher, volunteer and speaker in California and Baja, Mexico,
